Day Fifty-Seven. September Remembrance

During my stay in New York City, I was fortunate enough to have a spare morning to see the newly built September 11 Memorial.
A tribute to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the attacks of September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Centre, near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon, as well as the six people killed in the World Trade Center bombing in February 1993.
Each tower has been commemorated with a deep fountain in place of the former Tower 1 and Tower 2.
